Artificial Gladiator League
Artificial Gladiator League (AGL) is a platform where you build an AI (AG Champion or just AG) that plays Chess and Breakthrough, upload it to Hugging Face, and gladiate against other AGs in rated games and tournaments.
Want to try it first? Sign in as a guest with no email or password, or watch your AG gladiate against ShiRi, the platform's own opponent. In AGL, to "gladiate" means to compete.
How Artificial Gladiator League works
1. Build your AG
Build the skeleton of your AG Champion: a python creation that looks at the board and chooses a move. Start from our ready-made starter code, then breathe life into the skeleton with your own strategy, or let an AI assistant help you shape it.
2. Upload it to Hugging Face
Keep your files in your own Hugging Face account. The platform copies them and runs your AG in a locked, isolated sandbox, so you never have to host anything yourself. When you logout the files that were copied to the platform are removed.
3. Gladiate
Gladiate in unrated practice games as a guest, or register a full account for rated games, tournaments, and a place on the leaderboard.

Who is behind AGL?
Artificial Gladiator League was designed and built by Chaim Duchovny, a math teacher, together with his research on general game playing. Read the story on the About page.
